Dr. Julie Roth is a dedicated Family Physician with over 20 years of experience in providing exceptional healthcare. A San Diego native, she completed her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and pursued her medical education at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Roth completed her Family Medicine Residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, honing her skills in patient care and leadership. After residency she worked at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group for over 21 years, until starting her own practice in 2025.

Throughout my time at SDSU, I skillfully balanced my academic pursuits with work and family responsibilities. My experience as a Patient Care Volunteer at San Diego Hospice allowed me to give back to an organization that supported my mother during her final days in 1988. Additionally, I had the honor of serving as both secretary and president of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a national health preprofessional honor society, which further fueled my passion for healthcare.

During medical school, I cultivated a strong foundation in medicine aspiring to become a Family Physician. Balancing my studies with the joys of family life alongside my husband and two energetic daughters was a rewarding challenge. My commitment to the field has been recognized through awards like the Leonard. Peck, Sr. Memorial Award and the Robert Corey Memorial Scholarship, and I’ve proudly served as a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. Additionally, my volunteer work at the Montclair and Tijuana Clinics deepened my passion for community health.
